On first day of spring Sochi Autodrom hosts legendary museum car races

The traditional race of rare, expensive and incredibly beautiful cars from the Nik Panuli Auto Museum took place on 1 March. 10 cars, including the legendary Ferrari F40, the famous DeLorean from the Back to the Future trilogy, exclusive American convertibles of the 50-70s - these and many other cars paraded around the track, and the race was accompanied by a theatrical performance.
Almost all museum exhibits are full-fledged racing cars in running order, which need to go for a spin from time to time. Firstly, this is very important, it does not allow the cars to stagnate and allows the internal mechanism to work to its full potential. And, secondly, this is a rare opportunity to see unique cars on the track.

Despite the rainy weather, the race turned out to be very exciting, and the theatre performers helped to recreate the atmosphere of different eras.

We remind you that the Nik Panuli Auto Museum presents more than 50 rare and racing cars from different times, helmets signed by Formula 1 drivers, overalls of competitors and mechanics of racing teams, the Pirelli calendar collection and much more. You can see these and many other unique exhibits daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
