4000 спортсменов приняли участие на фестивале спорта Сочи Автодром

4,000 athletes take part in Sochi Autodrom’s sports festival.  

Sochi Autodrom’s grandiose three-day sports festival, which brought together a record number of participants - 4,000 people from all over Russia gathered on the Formula 1 track.
 
 
Marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5.5 km distance runs and a children’s run were held. A series of 55 km and 5.5 km bicycle races also took place. 
For the first time, within the framework of the festival, Sochi Autodrom hosted All-Russian competitions and a Russian Duathlon Cup round. The route run along the smooth and level track ideal for personal bests. The track is one of the fastest and flattest in Europe, and the festival is one of the biggest sporting events in the south and in Russia.

The event had an electronic timing system. All participants of the runs received SMS with their exact times. The final protocol of the competition, where everyone can see detailed stage-by-stage statistics and the results of the competitions, is also available to the athletes.

Sochi Autodrom’s sports festival is a festival for amateur runners of all skill levels and ages. For example, Ivan Yegorovich Demonov, the oldest participant of the festival, ran a marathon (42.2 km) this year being 100 years old. And the youngest participant of the Children’s Mile, Anna Lantseva, was born on 1 January 2023. Each participant, regardless of their result, received a unique commemorative medal at the finish line, and the most prepared received prizes.
